Our client - a product company creating modern smart home security systems is looking for a competent Lead Software Development Engineer in Test (Java) to join their team in Kyiv.

THE ROLE:

You will be responsible for delivering the product, work with the US team to define automation priorities, create roadmap and milestones for automation effort, and drive the automation effort according to the agreed roadmap.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Hiring and people management for mobile and automation engineers (size 10 people)
• Status and progress reporting on the automation and development activities
• Java test framework development for a new product
• Provide technical leadership to automation team

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:

• 2+ years of management experience as SDM or Automation Lead
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in automation QA (Java)
• Experience in creating automation framework from scratch
• Knowledge of multiple test types and ways of organizing them in the process of testing various applications
• Strong CS fundamental (data structures, algorithms, design patterns, etc.)
• Experience working with a remote team
• Advanced level of English

WOULD BE A PLUS:

• Mobile app test automation experience
• Device test automation experience
• Experience in building application or automation framework backed by native AWS services (Lambda, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB)
