Your Role

We are on the hunt for a knowledgeable and experienced expert in all things database. We have a complex, sophisticated, and powerful SaaS application (based on the MERN stack) - we need someone to analyse, suggest and improve our data layer. Think Schema, think DB architecture, scalability, performance. Experience is 100% a must - demonstrate you have done this before! You'll be working in a fast-paced environment, designing, building and supporting the growth of an exciting and powerful SaaS product, taking the financial world by storm.

Your day to day will include:

• MongoDB/Atlas - Analysis, benchmarks, improvements;
• Build full modules, enhancements, and bug fixes;
• Improve the performance, scalability and robustness of a already comprehensive application;
• Performing thousands of transactions, a second on global infrastructure;
• Collaborate with the engineering team in Australia and Malaysia in software design sessions;
• Code reviews, architecture, and other engineering activities;
• Ownership - take ideas and turn them into some great new feature;
• Work in an agile-based development environment;
• Produce accurate estimates for user stories;
• Have excellent interpersonal skills, communication, and problem solving. We are people and our clients are too. We all know the tech, but we make sure we communicate.
