A Californian hardware and services company, which is developing cloud solutions for their devices and solutions for transmission and processing of the streaming (live) video is actively looking for Senior Backend Developers (NodeJS, Golang) who will join their professional team in R&D office in Odesa.

All of the company's IP-enabled video encoders and decoders are managed from their online platforms Core and Sharelink, which includes device management, video routing, recording, and streaming to social platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, and many others.

Your role will include the development of dozens of server and client applications as well as respective firmware on the devices. You will have a chance to be responsible for a huge part of this complex cross-discipline engineering project. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Close work with peer developers, front-end, firmware, QA, and support teams;
• Participation in designing and developing new features and projects;
• Investigating production issues, diagnosing and resolving them.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:

• 5+ years of commercial back-end development experience;
• Experience with at least one of: nodejs, golang, java, python and/or willingness to learn nodejs and golang;
• Strong understanding of programming patterns and async programming;
• Strong in using Linux as a dev environment, git, ssh, scripting and etc.;
• Strong in networking (protocols) and computer architecture;
• Strong in using cloud providers (preferable, AWS);
• Strong in databases (SQL and NoSQL);
• Experience in designing and documenting REST API protocols;
• Good verbal and written English (need to be able to participate in video meetings).

WOULD BE A PLUS:

• Video streaming protocols, codecs, and FFmpeg experience;
• Deployment and ci/cd: docker, Jenkins, ansible;
• Programming C in a Linux environment;
• Rust.
