The famous German game development company, which develops AAA games, is looking for a competent C++ Game Programmer who wants to take part in the creation of high quality game product with their experienced team in Kyiv. You will work with console platforms like PS4 and Xbox One and highly acclaimed AAA titles.

THE ROLE:

As a C++ Game Programmer, you will be responsible for research and development tasks in porting, optimization and initial code testing (TDD) of games and Game Engine Technology to work with the supported platforms, modules and hardware efficiently. Mostly you will develop for PS4 and XBOX One console platforms, solving different task like porting famous products while using latest programming technologies.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:

• 3+ years of experience in game development or similar programming field (3D engines for 3D simulators, 3D CAD software, etc.);
• Strong knowledge of C++, engineering and debugging skills;
• Familiarity with low level optimization (performance issues, multi-threading, etc.);
• At least Intermediate level of English language.

WOULD BE A PLUS:

• Experience of development for Xbox One or PS4 game console platforms ;
• Experience of porting games between various game platforms;
• Experience with mobile development on iOS and Android;
• Experience with modern graphics pipelines and rendering APIs (DirectX/OpenGL);
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Networks or related engineering degree.
