Our Netherlands client who is developing a top-notch B2B e-commerce solution that is transforming the fashion industry is actively looking for Automation QA Engineer who will be involved in their highly professional team in Kyiv.

THE PROJECT:

Their SaaS platform provides large fashion brands and fashion retailers the ability to easily manage and place large orders with their famous clients like Puma, Ecco, Bestseller, and Brooks Running that trust them to digitize and run their global sales operations. On a weekly basis, the company's business-critical platform processes tens of millions worth of orders.

ABOUT THE TEAM:

Сurrently, there are about 30 result-oriented specialists in the company who try to adhere to high standards and hold themselves accountable in achieving this.

Most of the technology-driven team works directly from an office located in Amsterdam. About 10 people work in the company's office located in Kyiv.

They enjoy solving difficult problems that they face while working with big famous clients and continuously seek parts of their clients’ business processes that they can improve through technology and data.

While speaking with a CTO of the company we understood that the most important thing for them is to keep the team tight and cohesive. They move really fast and that requires every member of the team to take ownership and to have a direct influence on the outcome.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Developing, enhancing and executing automated tests for web, Android, iOS and API’s;
• Conducting exploratory and regression testing;
• Executing non-functional testing (e.g. performance, accessibility, and security);
• Developing, maintaining and executing non-functional frameworks and test scripts (e.g. performance, accessibility, and security);
• Participating in scrum activities within a product team;
• Designing test scenarios;
• Maintaining a clean and up-to-date test plan;
• Promoting quality assurance in a team by promoting TDD, owning the testing process and making quality an important deliverable;
• Participating in continuous improvement efforts of the QA Guild to mature company's QA standards, processes, tooling, test suite, and automation infrastructure;
• Work disciplined, improve constantly, bring new ideas and co-pilot company's clients.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:

• At least 3 years of commercial experience in QA roles with manual and automated testing in an Agile or Scrum environment;
• Hands-on experience in testing client-server applications on web and mobile;
• Previous experience with Cucumber/Gherkin, Cypress/Selenium, Appium, and Browserstack;
• Testing REST API’s and automating these tests. Preferably with Postman;
• Practical programming experience in JavaScript/Typescript or C#;
• At least Upper-Intermediate level of English.

WOULD BE A PLUS:

• Knowledge of SQL, HTML, CSS;
• Knowledge of non-functional testing.
