An American technology company, which produces wireless data communication products for enterprise and wireless broadband providers with a primary focus on under-server and emerging markets is looking for Embedded Team Lead for different projects (related to development of networking devices) to participate in creation of a high quality product with their team in the office in Kyiv.

THE ROLE:
As an Embedded Team Lead, you will play an important part in R&D processes of cutting edge wireless broadband products and technologies. You will work as a part of the global team of embedded engineers, leading new products and projects. This vacancy is a good chance to work with one of the leaders of the networking devices market, If you are a skilled team lead and familiar with networking devices or a senior embedded engineer, who wants to try himself in a new role.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE (requirements depends on the project):

  • 4+ years embedded firmware development experience with C / C++, Linux / Unix platform;
  • Experience with ARM/MIPS processors, embedded Linux;
  • Strong networking skills, OSI model understanding;
  • Experience with all phases of the software development life-cycle;
  • Experience with Git, including merging and rebasing;
  • Experience with bash shell scripting and/or Python;
  • BS degree in Computer Science, or related engineering degree;
  • Upper-intermediate or Advanced English.
  • Strong leadership skills. 

Would be a plus:

  • Experience working with Cross Compilers;
  • Experience with OpenWRT;
  • Wireless protocols (802.11);
  • Previous experience as a team lead of an embedded project;
  • Basic understanding of electronic circuits;
