Our client from Sweden - an AI-powered platform that enables F&B wholesalers to boost and automate sales online - is looking for a Principal Backend Engineer to join their team remotely.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

The one of its kind AI-powered infrastructure enables food wholesalers to automate and boost sales online. Its mission is to fight climate change by increasing profit margins and reducing food waste throughout the largest industry in the world, valued at €7 trillion a year.

Made specifically for F&B wholesalers, their automation intelligence makes client ERPs and digital sales channels work as one. The platform establishes real-time, personalised and automated communication between wholesalers and their buyers online — delivering bespoke and dynamic product catalogues, pricing, delivery terms and deals to each and every buyer.

THE ROLE

Working closely with the Founder to continue developing the future of food distribution the Principle backend engineer will be responsible for:

  • Develop API integration with on-premise and cloud ERPs.
  • Collaborate with CEO on scoping and planning new releases.
  • Continuously develop and improve the company’s products and infrastructure with new features.
  • Architect frameworks to increase ERP integration efficiency.
  • Structure and automate deployment and testing.
  • Define strategies and execute on scaling the company’s technology.
  • Select tech stack according to vision, technical and commercial needs.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE

The ideal candidate is a problem-solver, sharp and has a can-do attitude. The candidate will join the core team to lead the company's enterprise technology and build globally distributed fault-tolerant, and highly scalable ecosystems.

  • 10+ years of experience in backend development.
  • Strong proficiency with Go.
  • Working experience with C#, JavaScript,
  • CI/CD experience.
  • Experience with ERP software (Visma, MS Dynamics, SAP).
  • Good communication skills.
  • Fluent level of English.

GOOD TO HAVE

  • Experience with AWS, Unix, Redis.
  • DevOps experience.

INTERVIEW PROCESS

  1. Interview with the CEO. The main goal of this conversation is to get into personal ambition, experience and a fit with the team on a personal level. This takes about 60 min and will be done digitally.
  2. The second interview will be with the development team. The main goal of this conversation is to get into technical skills. This takes about 60 min and will be done digitally.
  3. Technical test.
