Roku.com - a well-known high-tech company, #1 TV streaming platform in the US that connects the entire TV ecosystem around the world is looking for a Senior HR Specialist.

SUMMARY

This is a great opportunity to become a part of the brand-new team in the Kyiv office that has recently been open since October 2021. As part of the global Compensation & Benefits team you will be building the local HR processes, and policies from the ground up to support the rapid business growth.

The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of Ukrainian labour law and experience in managing benefits and HR programs across Ukraine (experience with specifics in other EMEA countries would be a plus).

Roku Compensation & Benefits team is composed of trusted consultants to HR partners and business leaders at Roku. It is responsible for the implementation, administration, and evolution of compensation and benefits programs across Roku globally.

THE ROLE

Reporting to Sr. Compensation & Benefits Program Manager you will:

  • Implement and administer HR programs, policies and practices in Kyiv and potentially other EMEA locations.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of Ukraine HR and benefits programs and act as the point of contact for Ukraine benefits escalations and time and absence tracking.
  • Build and foster internal relationships with recruiting, payroll, and the HR Business Partner team.
  • Identify efficiency gaps in HR processes and procedures, and (re)design them to achieve a high level of efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage the external benefits vendors and lead the annual benefits renewal process.
  • Responsible for creating, reviewing, and facilitating training materials and meetings (with global vendors and additional contributors, as appropriate) for benefits programs
  • Maintain records related to human resources activities, employment files, policy changes or additions.
  • Participate in HR special projects as needed with enthusiasm and desire for professional development; including, but not limited to Workday enhancements, global expansion and M&A due diligence and integrations.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • 5+ years of experience in benefits or HR Operations.
  • Outstanding communication (written and verbal), organizational, problem-solving skills.
  •  Fluency in Ukrainian and English languages.
  •  Experience with Ukraine labour law and competitive practices.
  • Thorough understanding of Ukrainian HR, payroll and compliance practices and the ability to work with the TMF payroll provider on semi-monthly payroll processing.
  • Knowledge on immigration and relocation procedures in Ukraine.
  • Flexible and able to quickly change course when the needs of the business shift direction or accelerate delivery.

WOULD BE A PLUS

  • IT/tech industry experience.
  • Understanding of global HR operations.
  • Experience of working with other EMEA countries' labour laws.
