Roku pioneered streaming to the TV and continues to innovate and lead the industry. Roku is focused on providing an excellent end-user experience which is why we care so much about firmware stability; to this end, we automatically capture crash reports from customer devices, analyze them, and report them to our firmware and QA teams.

THE ROLE: The successful candidate will be comfortable working with a range of technologies including AWS, Docker, Python/Flask, JavaScript and PostgreSQL. You should also have the skills needed to diagnose and fix issues, provide direction on improvements and enhancements, and be able to work with our firmware and QA developers on evolving the system.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:

• Strong python3 skills
• SQL databases, ideally PostgreSQL
• Git
• Familiar with JavaScript
• CI/CD

 WOULD BE A PLUS:

• Docker-based development
• Flask
• Python unit-testing, e.g., pytest
• AWS
• Terraform
• sqlalchemy
• A passing familiarity with Perl
• HTML and CSS
