The brief
Recruit Delphi, C#/.NET and systems engineers for R&D offices in Ukraine, Germany, the USA, China and Poland.
How we worked
The partnership began with Ukrainian engineers relocating to China to work on the core product. It developed into recruitment support across five countries as Altium expanded its R&D organisation.
The outcome

Support Ring Ukraine’s hiring for Technical Program Manager (Embedded), Product Manager (Streaming), SDET (Java) and Embedded Engineer roles.
The challenge
Ring had already searched the market before engaging Skillers and continued sourcing for all of these roles during the partnership. The talent pool was heavily explored, with many competing opportunities for similar specialists. Technical Program Manager searches required the greatest effort.

The brief
Find a top-level Senior Electronics Engineer with strong PCB design expertise, hands-on experience soldering small components, and a solid command of schematics and circuit design. Squad develops smart video cameras and surveillance systems around embedded solutions and proprietary electronics.
How we worked
The search initially focused on Ukraine, but the limited pool of relevant specialists kept the role open. Skillers recommended expanding into Poland. After the client approved that change, a suitable candidate was identified in less than a month.
The outcome
Expanding into Poland produced a suitable candidate in less than a month. Across the full search, the successful candidate was presented on day 77 and joined Squad on day 141. The assignment built on a longer recruitment partnership across hardware, embedded, Data Engineering and AI roles.

On a router programme, owned the Wi-Fi chip driver and MCU firmware end to end and worked on custom Linux distributions for the device.

Camera experience includes connected doorbells and residential devices with day/night modes; it does not include the thermal-imaging firmware path. Also has experience with automotive optical sensors and medical IoT devices.

- Prefers Altium Designer, also uses KiCad; previous Mentor Graphics experience in automotive electronics. Has a personally equipped lab with a soldering station, heater, reflow oven and microscope for fine-pitch assembly and rework.
