About the Role:
We are looking for a C++ Embedded Engineer to join a cross-functional engineering team working on camera-based security devices. The role includes maintaining and improving existing firmware as well as developing new features for next-generation products.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software in C++ (C++17) for camera-based security devices.
- Debug and resolve complex issues across software, hardware, and network layers.
- Develop new product features and improve existing firmware.
- Optimize performance for resource-constrained embedded environments.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical design decisions.
- Conduct code reviews and support engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with QA on testing strategies and product validation.
- Work closely with hardware, product, and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Document system design, APIs, and troubleshooting procedures.
Main Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in embedded software development.
- Strong expertise in C++ (C++17).
- Solid understanding of RTOS and embedded systems (ARM, RISC-V).
- Experience with multithreading and network programming.
- Knowledge of communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, Wi-Fi).
- Experience with debugging hardware/software integration issues.
- Understanding of full SDLC (Git, CMake, CI/CD, code reviews).
- Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset.
- Upper-Intermediate English (B1+).
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with Python for scripting and automation.
- Experience with C in embedded systems.
- Knowledge of security protocols and encryption.
- Experience using AI tools for development and productivity.
