Our client - an American company that is one of the most rapidly growing leaders in data analytics - is now looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer (Node/React) to join their team in Kyiv or remotely.

The company provides a platform for data analysis in departments like sales, marketing, finance, and real estate. Among more than 2500 customers from world-class leading brands, you can find such names as Amazon, Walmart, Dropbox, Dell, Ikea, Nissan and Mitsubishi, and many others.

PROJECT:

The team works on a Node.js / TypeScript web application and uses PostgreSQL’s latest features to store and search the data. When working on the front-end, the team uses React, Redux, Redux-Saga.
The current tasks are:
— creating and supporting the virtual file system;
— permissions system in VFS;
— metadata harvesting across the entire platform;
— search of assets/metadata.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:

• 3+ years of experience in the development of web applications.
• Strong JavaScript expertise and hands-on experience with NodeJS.
• Strong JavaScript expertise with writing tests for the company`s code.
• Experience with TypeScript.
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Code review experience.
• Familiarity with Git.
• Familiarity with React/Redux.
• Familiarity with creating Test Plan, Test Cases.
• Passionate about writing simple, readable, testable, SOLID code.
• Willingness to work in an agile environment with a collaborative team.
• English on a communicative level, both written and spoken.

WOULD BE A PLUS:

• Frequent communication with US — willingness to participate on occasional meetings at late hours (due to time difference).
• CI/CD experience (gitlab).
• Experience with Express web framework, PostgreSQL.
