Datagate - a Company from New Zealand, which creates a cloud-based billing engine and customer self-service portal that manages the data aggregation, rating, billing, and analysis of service usage for huge telecom customers - is now looking for a talented Golang Software Engineer who will join their team remotely.


As a Golang Software Engineer, you will be working across the full development lifecycle, build API and microservices, and implement business logic without making a fuss.


The online billing portal that integrates with software that is important to MSPs, including different systems, like task engines and accounting systems. This system enables MSPs to automate and optimize the billing system as much as possible to minimize time and cost. 


  • Strong knowledge of Go programming language, paradigms, constructs, and idioms.
  • Knowledge of common Goroutine and channel patterns.
  • Experience with the full suite of Go frameworks and tools, including:
    Dependency management, specifically Go Modules.
    Experience with Go web framework, bonus points for Gin.
    Experience in writing functional and/or unit tests for Go.
  • Proficiency with Git.
  • Experience with MS SQL.
  • At least Intermediate level of English.
